PUBLIC CONVENIENCE.

Cr. Rand raised the question of providing a public convenience at last night’s Borough Council meeting. The Mayor said that the Town Hall was open almost every evening and the conveniences there could always be used. There was a ladies’ .rest room at the hall and also one at the Service Station. Cr. Walker said that there was a resolution on the books that a convenience be erected. The Clerk (Mr. Wv Trueman) said he had plans already prepared for such a structure but the question of a site was what had held the matter up in the past. It was decided to hold the matter over until next meeting to enable the Councillors to decide upon some suitable location.
