DOUBLE TRAGEDY.
YOUTH SHOOTS HIMSELF AND BROTHER. Hamilton, December 1. A double tragedy occurred on a farm at Tirau at 2.30 this morning, when Stanley Chapman, aged 21*, shot his brother, Bruce Chapman, aged 16, and then shot himself. Both died before medical aid could be summoned, Stanley Chapman had been depressed owing to insomnia and worry. The relations of the brothers had been cordial. The rest of the family were asleep when the tragedy occurred, and no one witnessed or heard signs of a struggle. The deceased were the sons of Mi 1 . Chapman, a well-known HMjjk
