THE WEATHER.
The Government meteorologist wires at noon to-day as follows: — The indications are for westerly winds moderate to strong and veering by west to north, freshing and northerly winds strong to gale. Weather probably cool and changeable with scattered showers later, the weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled with rain following and milder. Barometer falling slowly shortly. Seas moderate, tides good, seas increasing.
