W.C.T.U.
The monthly meeting of the Foxton branch of the W.C.T.U. Avas held on Thursday afternoon. Mrs. J. Symonds presided over a very fair attendance of members. A motion of sympathy Avas passed to Mrs. Stone in the bereavement re-r-entlv sustained.
A congratulatory wire Avas forwarded to Mr. J. Linklater, M.P., for his attitude on the Licensing Bill.
