THEFT OF FUR COAT.
SHIP’S STEWARD GETS SIX MONTHS. Wellington, This Day. A ship’s steward, Raymond Patrick Litton, alias McCullough, aged 24, got six months from the Magistrate to-day for the theft of a fur coat valued at £4B, the property of Millie Duncan, from a bedroom in the Alhambra Hotel. On a charge of breaking a pane of glass in* a skylight he was ordered to pay 10s, in defult seven days.
