Mr. R. McMullian has severed his connection with the Family Hotel, of which he was the popular proprietor for some years, and Mr. and Mrs. McMullian leave Foxton on an extended holiday at the end of the week. Mr. Mitchell, late proprietor of the Ivimbolton Hotel, is taking over the license of the Family Hotel and will enter into possession this week.

We regret to record the death of Mrs. Edith Badger, mother of Mrs. E. R. Booth, of Johnston Street, Foxton, who passed away at the residence of her son-in-law, Dr. O. F. Lamb, of Grey Lynn, Auckland.
