LUICKY AVIATOR.

Sydney, August 25. Frederick Rowe, aged 38, was testing an aeroplane over the St. Peter’s suburb when the machine developed a tail spin towards the earth from over two thousand feet. Rowe succeeded in flattening the machine out only thirty feet from the earth, when it crashed heavily and was completely wrecked. Rowe escaped with a black eye and lacerations. He exclaimed to a spectator who was helping him: “I’m the luckiest man in the world,” and lit a cigarette. He is now in hospital.®
