OBITUARY.
MRS. ALICE CATHERINE GIBBS, AGED 67 YEARS. The death took place at the Palmerston North Hospital last night of a well-known and highly esteemed Foxton resident in the person of Mrs. Alice Catherine Gibbs, aged 67 years. About three months ago the deceased entered the hospital following a severe illness from which she never recovered. Deceased resided for many years in Foxton prior to removing to the local seaside. She possessed a kindly and sympathetic nature and was beloved by all who knew her. ‘The funeral will take place at Palmerston to-morrow, leaving Grigg’s mortuary at 2 p.m.
