EDUCATION BOARD ELECTION.

The Wanganui Education Board elections resulted as follow (bne seat was vacant in each ward): — Wlanganui Urban Area: W. A. Collins,. 41; j. Patterson, 24. The total number of yotes recorded was G 5, two votes being rejected as informal. North Ward: W. Adams, 144; R. Dukeson, G 8; D. G. Gordon, 44; H. W. Littlewood, 36. The total number of valid votes recorded was 292. Two were informal. South Ward: J. S. Tingey (Feilding), new member, replaces H. McIntyre, who did not seek re-elec-tion. Palmerston North Urban Ward: W, S. Wpodroofe, re-elected unopposed. West Ward: A. S. Coleman (Marton), elected unopposed, taking the place of W. A. Collins, who was formerly a representative of this ward, and who has been elected to represent the Wanganui Urban Area.
