THE ALL BLACKS

Members of the All Blacks who did not play at Kroonstad stayed at Johannesburg going through intensive training, playing tennis and golf. The team is being generally reted and entertained in lavish style. It visited the Crown Gold Mine this morning and was taken down a shaft. Several players are suffering injuries. Harvey has torn a muscle of his leg, Lindsay has damaged a knee. Burrows has injured his ribs and McGregor has injured his back. All are making quick recovery. Most players have been skinned and play with bandages. The team to-morrow is:— Full-back: Lilburne; three-quar-ters: Robillianl, Carleton, Grensidc; five-eigthths: Strang, Johnston; half-back: Dailey; rover: Scrimshaw; forwards: Hove, Swain, M. Brownlie, Alley, Finlayson, Stewart, Hazlett.

School defeated Manakau at Manakau this morning by 23 points to nil.
The result of the All Blacks return match with Transvaal to be played at Johannesburg to-day, will be obtainable by ringing up the local telephone exchange after 8.30 a.m. to-morrow (Sunday).
W. Broad will he unable to play for the Juniors again for some time owing to a recurrence of his old trouble. He will be missed from the ranks of the Juniors as he has been playing good football this season. At last night’s committee meeting of the Club a vote of sympathy was accorded him in his illness.
