REVISED PRAYER BOOK.
AGAIN REJECTED BY COMMONS London, June 14. The revised Prayer Book was rejected by the House of Commons, by 22G votes to 220 after a. heated debate. Hamilton, This Day. The opposition of a section of Anglicans in the Waikato diocese to the revised Prayer Book has been voiced in a cablegram sent by some members of the Cathedral Chapter to Sir Joynson Hicks, Home Secretary. The message reads: “A majority of the lay members of the Cathedral Chapter of the Wjaikato diocese and many pebple congratulate you on your past successes, and are fully with you in opposing the revised Prayer Book.
