METHODIST CHURCH

A very enjoyable social afternoon was held under the auspices of the Methodist Ladies’ Social Guild at the residence of Mrs. J. G. Honore, yesterday afternoon. Progressive games were indulged in and afternoon tea dispensed. At a suitable juncture, Mrs. M. H. Walker, on behalf of the guild presented Mrs. E. Westwood, who is about to leave the district, with a token of esteem and in recognition of her many years faithful service to the church.

Mrs. Westwood feelingly acknowledge the kind expressions and token of esteem. Good wishes were expressed by those present for Mr. and Mrs. Westwood’s happiness and prosperity in their new home.

The Guild decided to hold a social next Tuesday.
