GOVERNOR-GENERAL INDISPOSED.
Auckland, Juno 7. The Governor-General, Sir Charles Ferguson, is still indisposed owing to a cold, and the departure of their Excellencies for Taranaki, Hawke’s. Bay, Palmerston North and Wellington has been further postponed until Sunday evening. A slight improvement in Sir Charles’ condition was reported today. Their Excellencies will travel to New Plymouth by train, and although the lime at their disposal for the tour has been considerably shortened they will carry out the programme arranged and will be at Palmerston North on June 21 for the opening of the Manawatu Winter Show.
