JOY NIGHT AT MOUTOA

The Moutoa bachelors joy night ball held in the Moutoa Hall last night was an unqualified success, and was voted the most enjoyable social function yet field there. The decorations were on a lavish scale and the interior with its coloured lights, streamers, etc., presented a real carnival scene. There were novelties in the shape of masks, hats, and balloons and squeakers added to the merriment. Visitors were present, from all parts of the district. The music was supplied by Larkin’s orchestra and extras were played by Misses Delany and Stevenson. Messrs M. E>. Pcrreau and S. Barber officiated as M.C’s. The catering which was in the hands of Mr. Fairey, left nothing to be desired. The committee and energetic secretaries, Messrs A. Milner and J. McKenzie, are to be congratulated upon the success of their efforts.
