Advances to be made by district companies against butter-fat supplied in April are as follows: Newbury (cheese) 1/5, Shannon (butter) 1/4A, Awahuri (butter) 1/5, Kairanga (cheese) 1/5, Nairn nga (butter) 1/4 Palm Dairy Co. (butter) 1/4 Whakarongo (butter) 1/5 plus ljd for casein. The Levin Dairy Company are advancing 1/4 per pound for butterfat supplied during the month of April.

The Oroua Downs Dairy Co. are advancing 1/6 for April and are making a further payment on the 20th of May of 3d for August and Id for September to February, inclusive, which will bring the average payout up to February to 1/7 per lb. butterfat. The payout will amount to £2700.
