THE OROUA SEAT.

MR. J. J. COBBE A CANDIDATE. Feilding, May 14. Mr. ,J. J. Cobbe, of Feilding, intends to contest the Oroua seat at the forthcoming general election, and will stand in the interests of the United Party. Mr. Cobbe is well known in the commercial world, and has long been connected with local bodies. At the present time lie holds the important offices of chairman of the Wellington Harbour Board and chairman of directors of the Feilding Farmers’ Freezing Company, Ltd. Mr. Cobbe stated that his decision to stand was the outcome of repeated requests from the United Party,' and also another, and he had decided to contest the Oroua seat on behalf of the former party.
