PLUNKET SOCIETY.

COMMITTEE MEETING. ' The usual monthly meeting of the Foxton Plunket Society was held in the Plunket room yesterday, presided over by Mrs. W. Trueman. Also present were Mesdames Walton, Baker and the secretary '.(Mrs. Barron). Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Christie, Edwards, Procter and Miss Ross.

Mesdames Barron and Trueman were appointed trustees to operate on the Society’s Post Office account.

Mrs. Trueman was appointed (lower steward and visitor for the month.

The nurse’s report showed visits to homes 2, and parents to office 157.

Accounts amounting to £27 11s Od were passed for payment. Mr. Corn’s weighing machine box produced 13/1 during the month and the office box 10/10J.
