TREASURER’S STATEMENT.
The' treasurer reported as follows at last night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council:—
During the month of August the sum of £IO7O 10s lOd was received and banked as follows: —District Fund Account £1065 3s 4d, Cemetery Account £5 7s 6d. The ledger balances at the 31st March, were as follows: —Accounts at debit totalled £729 10s 8d and were made up as follows: —Gasworks £641 8s 2d, general ,£2O 5s 9d, Hospital and Charitable Aid £4 12s Od, Interest £63 4s 9d. The accounts at credit were:— Cemetery £163 2s lid, Drainage Construction Loan £73 12s od, Library £lO4 6s 6d, reserves £BB 10s lOd, Town Hall £97 13s 4d, waterworks £315 11s lOd, worker’s dwelling £7 10s 6d.
