BOWLING.
To-morrow afternoon, at the local green, a game will be played for the Nye Ferns, against -the holders, a rink skipped by Barr. Occasion will be taken to wish Mr Barr bon voyage and a pleasant time during his projected -holiday abroad, and to present him with a token of the esteem in which he is held by his fellow bowlers. The management committee decided at last meeting to hold a ball in the Town Hall during the month of May.
