BOROUGH FINANCE.
TREASURER'S STATEMENT,
The treasurer reported as follows at last night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council:— During the month of February the sum of £616 3s 6d was received and banked as follows: —District Fund Account £613 16s, Cemetery Account £2 7s 6d.
The ledger balances at the 29th February were as follows:—‘Accounts at debit totalled £1451 2s Id and were made up as follows: Imprest Cash £lO, gasworks £2BO 9s 2d, hospital and Charitable aid £l4 17s 4d, Interest £4Ol Is Od, Town Hall £744 14s 7d. The accounts at credit were: — Cemetery £l6O 17s lid, Drainago Construction Loan £73 17s Od, general £3 17s 9d, library £lll Is 3d, reserves £9O 18s 2d, Town Hall Pictures £790 5s 7d, waterworks £409 6s 2d, workers dwelling £1 5s 6d.
