BOROUGH FINANCE.
TREASURER’S STATEMENT. , The treasurer reported as follows at last night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council:— V During the month of December the sum of £1725 14s Cd was received and banked as follows: —' District Fund Account £1698 4s 6d, Cemetery account £27 16s. The ledger balances at the 31st December were as follows: —Accounts at debit totalled £1123 6s lOd and were made up as follo'ws: — Imprest cash £lO, gas works £414 3s Id, Town Hall £690 9s 3d, Worker’s dwelling £8 14s 6d. The accounts at credit were: — Cemetery £IBB 2s Id, Drainago Construction Loan £73 17s, general £174 7s 3d, hospital and charitable aid £24 12s lOd, interest £714 19s Id, library £IOB 19s Bd, reserves £26 8s 2d, Town Hall pictures £594 0s 6d, waterworks £498 15s 7d.
