OBITUARY
JOHN JAMES KRUSE. We regret to record the sudden death of Mr John James Kruse, of Avenue Road, which took place at his residence some time during last night. / • The late Mr Kruse had been unwell since last Sunday, but not sufficiently so to warrant the calling in of the doctor. At about 11 o’clock last evening deceased got up, lit the light and got himself a drink of milk, remarking to his wife that lie felt better. He then returned to bed. At 5.30 a.m. his brother Gus called him, and on obtaining no response went over to the bedside and discovered his brother dead.
Death was evidently due to heart failure. t The late Mr. Kruse was very well known in this district, having been resident here for the past 35 years. He was 63 years of age, and was born in-. Nelson. He leaves a wife and one son, Mr W. Kruse, of M'outoa. Messrs A. and Gus Kruse are brothers of deceased.
