JOY NIGHT TO-NIGHT.
Of course you have not forgotten the Joy Night! Everyone will be at the Town Hall to-night, to boost along the Mayor’s Christmas Fund. You must all admit that this idea of our Mayor, to have a function on Christmas Eve, at which all children may attend, is a great one, and deserves our whole-hearted support. The festive crowd at the Joy Night, besides having a wonderful time, will know that they are helping this good cause.
All the lorry jiarty has promised to be present in fancy costume, so bring yours along. All the same, fancy dress is not essehtial. You may attend in flannels, mufti or evening dress, if you so desire. Admission is 1/6 and the ball will start rolling at 8 o’clock.
