BOROUGH COUNCIL
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Foxton Borough Council was held in the Council Chambers last evening. WATERWORKS FOREMAN’S REPORT.
The waterworks foreman reported that during the month he had laid two water services, flushed out sewers, repaired tower valve and electric cut out- to tower, which was blown down by the wind, put in washers in seven hydrants, cleaned two house drains, and attended to maintenance work. Pumping Station: —During the month 1,985,000 gallons of water was pumped, the maximum current being 41 amps. — Adopted.
