MOUTOA SCHOOL.
A meeting of householders convened by the school committee, was held in the schoolhouse last night, presided over by Mr Gregory (Chairman). There was an attendance of upwards of fifty persons present. The object of the meeting was to ascertain the feeling of parents as to whether the school should be closed and the children conveyed to the Foxton school. After some discussion a motion was carried, favouring the retention of the school. Several parents voted against the motion.
