TWO MEN KILLED.
PREMATURE EXPLOSION. Nelson, Yesterday. A premature explosion on the relief works at Hope Junction resulted in the death of two men and serious injury to a third. Those killed are: — E. F. Rotheram (next-of-kin, C. E. Rotheram, 175 Taranaki Street, Wellington). Dennis Phillips (mother, Mrs F. Phillips, 86 Nottingham Street, Karori). The injured man, who was brought to the hospital at Nelson, is George P. Gillespie, whose mother lives at Catlin’s River.
