HIGHWAYS AND MOTOR SPEED LIMITS.
At yesterday’s meeting of the Manawatu County Council, correspondence was read from the Madge Char-a-banc Company, requesting permission to increase the speed of their vehicles whilst running in the Manawatu County. , Similar applications were from J. A. Nicholson on behalf of his service cars, and also from the Hodson’s Motor Service.
It was resolved to fix the maximum speed for service cars at 30 miles an hour, and for char-a-bancs 25 miles an hour.
