BOROUGH FINANCE.
TREASURER’S STATEMENT.
The treasurer reported as follows at last night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council:— During the month of August the sum of £719 8s Gd2was received and banked as follows: —Cemetery Account £7 7s 6d, District Fund Account £6BB Is Od, Drainage Construction Loan Account £24 0s Od. The ledger balances at the 31sl August were as follows:—Account* at debit totalled £471 3s 4d and were made up as followslmprest Cash £lO 0s Od, gas Works £461 3s 4d. The accounts at credit were: — Cemetery £159 3s lOd, Contractors’ deposits £5 0s Od, Drainage Construction Loan £9B 17s 9d, general £396 2s Gd, hospital and charitable aid £9 14s sd, interest £549 5s Id, library £ll4 6s Od, reserves £96 10s lOd, Town Hall £6O 17s 4d, Town Hall Pictures £351 13s sd, waterworks £399 18s lOd, workers dwelling loan £124 8s Od, worker’s house £7 10s Od. ; SUMMARY. .
