FOXTON SILVER BAND.

AN APPRECIATION. Mr. 11. Osborne, bandmaster of the local Silver Band, has received the following letter of appreciation from Mrs. P. W. Brown and family : “Dear Sir, —We desire to thank you and the members of the band fo/ the kind services given at the service on Thursday last.

“In spite of the very short notice they had to practice for the service, the manner the tunes were played, cannot be too highly commented upon. The tunes selected for the occasion were worthy of comment and we can assure you the band was very much appreciated by everyone present.”
