MONTHLY SITTING. The uSual monthly sitting of the local S.M. Court was held in the ..Courthouse yesterday before Messrs A. Eraser and D. R. Ogilvy, J’s.P. For failing to send their children to school H. B. Cresswell, A. Fee, and L. Parker were each fined 2/wt'h costs 10/- on each charge. 0. H. Dawson on two charges was simularly fined, costs amounting to £l. , CIVIL CASES. Judgment was given for plaintiff in the following civil undefended cases: —H. Osborne v. S. Robinson, £l 8s (id, costs 8/1; same v. R. Shaw, £1 10s, costs 8/-; same v. G. Blanche, 19/-? costs 8/-; same v. D. Baker,. £1 14s fid, costs 8/Manawatu Rabbit Trustees v. Heremaia Maika, 5/9, costs £1 3s.
