PRESBYTERIAN LADIES’ SOCIAL GUILD.
The annual meeting of members of the above was held in the church on Wednesday afternoon. There was a good attendance, presided over by Mrs. Nicholas (president). The annual report and balancesheet presented by Mrs. John Ross (secretary) and Mrs. Thomson (treasurer) were favourably commented upon and adopted. The election of officers fir the ensuing year resulted in the unanimous re-election of all the past officers namely: President, Mrs. Nicholas; vice-presidents, Mesdames A. Ross, M. Perreau and Miss Duncan; secretary, Mrs. J. Ross; treasurer, Mrs. J. Thomson. Arrangements were made to hold the next afternoon in the Masonic Hall on Thursday and the meeting closed with the Benediction.
