TREASURER’S STATEMENT. The treasurer reported as follows at Monday night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council: — During the month of May the sum of £909 19s 5d was received and banked as follows: —District Fund account £B7O 18s Id; Cemetery account £2; Drainage Construction Loan account £37 lsjkl. The ledger balances at the 31st May wefe as follows: —Accounts at debit totalled £978 13s 2d and were made up as follows: —Imprest cash £lO, gasworks £4Bl 2s 7d, general £6B 15s 7d, hospital and charitable aid £4l 8s 9d, interest £377 6s 3d. Accounts at credit were: —Cemetery £l4l 14s 2d, Cont. Deposits £25. Drainage Construction Loan £47 4s lOd, library £lOl 14s sd, reserves £193 8s Bd, roads and streets £538 19s 2d, Town Hall £92 13s 4d, Tow'n Hall pictures £2ll 15s lOd, waterworks £l2O 13s 2d, workers dwelling £4O.
