Mr and Mrs G. W. Morgan were visitors to Foxton during the weekend.

Mr Glover, president of the'Welling! on Waterside Workers Union, paid a visit to Foxton during the week-end.

The friends of Mr H. Hutchins will be pleased to learn that he is now making progress towards recovery from his illness.

The condition of Mrs Mantell, of Liddell Street, who is at present an inmate of the Palmerston Hospital, is causing grave anxiety.

Mr. J. Durham, guard on the local railway staff, has received notice of a transfer to Upper Ilutt, and will leave to take up his new duties on Thursday.
