CHILDREN’S BALL
The annual children’s hall held under the auspices of All Saints’ Ladies’ Guild last week was a very successful function. The hall was tastefully decorated in red and gold and greenry and with the many and varied fancy costumes presented a scene of animated gaiety. Music was supplied by Mesdames Ross, R. Easton, and Messes X. Woods, N. Robinson and Mr. J. Newton. Mesdames Jewell and Bain acted as judges and prizes were awarded as follows: Girls: —Best fancy dress, Turi Reiter, “Egyptian Lady;’’ original costume, Greta Coley, “Pot Plant.” Tiny Tots special prizes: Valerie Bergin, “Powder Puff,” Enid Coley, “Moth.” Boys: Best dressed, Bryan Walton, “Cavalier.” Most original, Jean Coley, “Twofaced Kid.” Tiny Tots, James Wyllic, “Baggy Breeches.” Most original, Roy Jardinc, “Twink.” Special prizes were awarded Douglas and Joyce Clarke, Indian Chief and Squaw.
