MINISTER OF EDUCATION.

TO VISIT FOXTON ON THURSDAY.

The Minister of Education (Hon. R. A. Wright) will visit Foxton on Thursday afternoon, at about 2 o’clock The Minister was to have been accorded a civic welcome at the Council Chamber, but lias intimated to the Mayor that time will not permit of this ceremony, but he will meet the Mavor at the school.

The Chairman of the Wanganui Education Board (Mr Collins) will be in attendance at the school, and will participate in tlie welcome to the Minister.

The Scouts and Girl Guides xvill form a guard of honour upon the arrival of the Minister.

Parents and the public are cordially invited to be present at the ceremon v.
