WEDDING

LANGLEY—LACEY.

The Napier Trinity Methodist Church was the. scene of a pretty wedding on the evening of Tuesday, April 12, when Miss Ivy Lacey, second daughter of Mrs. E. G. Martin and the late Mr. William Lacey, of Foxton, was joined in matrimony "to Mr. George Langley, youngest son of Mrs. C. Langley and the late Mr. J. M. Langley, of Port Ahuriri. The Rev. Basil Mctson officiated and Mr. H. G. Spackman presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by Mr. G. Elisor, was attractively gowned in ivory crepe do chene, trimmed in pear] and silver, with an overdress of silver lace. She wore the orthodox veil of orange blossoms and silver shoes and stockings completed a dainty toilette. Her bouquet was of asters, roses and maiden-hair fern. Miss K. Lacey was chief bridesmaid, wearing a kingfisher blue crepe de chine frock, with vest and hem of gold laee. She was assisted by Miss L. Martin and Miss 11. llcllier, wearing pink and blue organdi respectively. Mr. jioy Girling acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Salisbury Tea Rooms, following which the happy pair left by car for the north, the bride travelling in a wine-coloured tailored frock and coat with hat to match.
