SOLDIERS’ MEMORIAL.

AN APPEAL.

The local Returned Soldiers’ Executive make an appeal to the public for sufficient funds to enable them to improve the environment of the memorial in Main Street to their comrades. The Borough Counter has generously decided to make a grant, and the executive are contributing from their funds. Any donations forwarded to the Herald Office, to Captain Yeo or Mr A. E. Scott (hop. secretary) will be thankfully received and publicly acknowledged.
