♦ A WARTIME BRIDE.

At a sitting of the Supreme Court in Wanganui, Percival ■'&. White made application for dissolution of his marriage with Nellie B. White. Petitioner, giving evidence, said that he served with his -Majesty’s forces in the war and while in England met Nellie Fookes, whom lie married in London in September 1917. There was one child by the marriage and conditions were quite satisfactory until the parties came to New Zealand, where tho wife was dissatisfied with living conditions. They then agreed to separate, and the wife later sold the house iu which she had resided and went back to England. The parties had not seen each other since then.

The judgment of the Court was that a decree nisi be moved absolute after three months.
