OBITUARY.
The death occurred suddenly on Saturday of Mr. Harry Walsll, of Union Street, aged 48 years. For a week prior to his death, deceased had been under medical attention for a throat affection and f on Saturday, it was considered advisable to remove him to the Palmerston North Hospital for treatment. The ambulance was sent for in the afternoon and prior to leaving his residence, deceased walked out to the conveyance, hut before Rangiotu was reached he succumbed. The late Mr. Walsh leaves a wife to mourn her loss for whom much sympathy is felt. Deceased had no relatives in New Zealand, but it is understood that there are relaiives in New York, and Ireland. The late Mr. Walsh had been a resident of Foxton for the past ten-years, and had been in. the employ of Mr. T. W. Hunt, the Moutoa Drainage Board and for the last three years with Mr. K. Easton. Deceased was recognised ns a good workman and was highly esteemed as such by his employers. The funeral took place yesterday at the Foxton cemetery, the Rev. Father McDermott conducting the service at the graveside.
