About fifty creditors this afternoon attended the meeting in the bankruptcy of William Lawlor Side!, a: mutorgarage proprietor, of Dunedin. The total debts amounted to £42,7(54' 3s sd, the assets to £21,801 3s 7d, and the deficiency to £20,872 10s lOd. The total amount of debts to creditors holding securities was given as £12,703 .16s (id, and to unsecured creditors as £24,763 6s lid. There were over a hundred and riftv unsecured creditors.

Bankrupt staled that among other circumstances which brought about his financial difficulties were the loss of. £BOO on a shipment of tyres and the necessity to write off £SOOO on secondhand cars.
