A committee meeting of the Foxton Football Club was held in Wall’s rooms last night, presided over by the President (Mr. H. Hutchins). It was decided to give a points prize in connection with the club’s euchre tournament, points to be counted as from May sth.

Votes of thanks were accorded the ladies who organised the shop day for the club and carried it out to such a successful issue, and also to those who assisted in any way. ALLOCATION OF GROUNDS. Mr. Neville reported that as a result of a conference with the Awahou delegate at the Union meeting, it had been agreed that when more than one match was to be played on the racecourse on the same day, the senior team play on No. 1 ground, and if there was no senior match, the juniors to take it turn about. PRACTICE SHED. It was decided to confer with the Awahou Club re a practice shed, with a view to mutually sharing the same premises. A letter was received from F. G. Eeles and Co., offering to up Easton Park for £52 10s Od. Received. Accounts amounting to £lO 8s 6d were passed for payment.
