MOUNTED RIFLE CAMP AT LEVIN.
The annual training camp for the (ith (Manavvatu) Mounted Rifles will be held on the Levin Racecourse from Tuesday, May 3rd, to Friday, May 13th. Trainees from Wellington and Palmerston North drill centres will remain in camp six days (Sunday excluded). All officers and N.C.O.’s will put in the full period. Men of the B Squadron, which takes in Palmerston North, Rongotea, and Glen Oroua, who have horses, will proceed to camp via the Sandon Road and Foxton, arriving at Levin at 4 p.m.
