WEDNESDAY FOOTBALL
There was a good muster .of Wednesday half-holidayites in Grady’s rooms on Thursday evening when the question of forming a Wednesday football team was discussed.
Mr. H. Hutchins was voted to the chair and it was decided to get in touch with Palmerston North and try and arrange a game with the Wednesdayites of that town, to be played on their ground next Wednesday. Mr. Hutchins was elected team captain, Mr. P. Little secretary, and Messrs Hutchins, W. Brown and J. Desmond selectors, Mr. Desmond, coach, subject to consent. A team will be selected from the 25 odd names handed in to the secretary.
The secretary of the Foxton Football Club has received word that there will be four rounds in the Junior competition, and not five, as previously stated.
