NEW GAPPY RICKS STORY AT TOWN HALL. ‘“Mure Pay —Less Work,” which will show at the Town Hall to-night is Fox Films’ version of Peter B. Kyne’s latest, story about Gappy Kicks. Kyne has outdone all his former efforts in creating amusing situations for Gappy and his associates and in this comedy he has almost all the principal actors floundering around in San Francisco Bay at some time during the action. First Cappy’s daughter Betty falls into the water. Willie Hinchiield, son of Dad Hinchlield, Cappy’s old enemy, dives in after her. Later in the comedy- Cappy and Dad arc spilled into the water when a motorboat overturns. A double knockout that finishes a fist fight is another amusing incident. Tugs collide in the bay and the captains start fighting. Each lands a haymaker and knocks out the other at the same time. Also “Move Along (comedy), scenic and news. UsuM *t, Buffalo Bill jnr., the latest Western star, will be seen in “Fast and Fearless,” an exciting story full of new surprise stunts and clever horsemanship. A special programme will be screened on Wednesday (election night), at usual prices.
