WEDDING.
ROSS —HARRISON. A wedding of local interest .took place at the Edendnlp (Auckland) Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, the contracting parties were lan, only son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ross, of Thynne Street, Foxton, to Miss Louie Harrison. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Thos. Halliday. The bride, who was escorted by Mr. W. Crow, of Auckland, wore a charming frock of ivory ercpe-dc-ehine and carried a bouquet of white cosmos, and pale pink dahlias. She also wore the bridegroom’s present, a necklace of pearls. Miss Pearl Seoullcr, of Auckland, attended as bridesmaid, wearing a pretty frock of lavender silk, beautifully embroidered and carried a bouquet of palest pink flowers. Two little train bearers, Aleson and Dorothy Crow, nieces of the bridegroom, were also in attendance, wearing pretty sleeveless frocks of Princess Mary blue velvet, trimmed with silver tissue and pale pink rosebuds. The bridesmaids wore silver head bands and their presents from the bridegroom, gold armlets. The duties of best man were carried out- by Mr. Jack McNaughton. of Waiuku. After the ceremony a reception was held in the school room at the rear of the church, when (he usual toasts and felicitous speeches were made. The many gifts testified to the popularity of the couple who also received congratulatory telegrams from Foxton friends.
