MANAWATU SOCCER ASSOCIATION.
MEETING OF MANAGEMENT
COMMITTEE.
A meeting of the management committee of the Manawatu Soccer Association was held in Palmerston North on Tuesday evening, when Mr. J. C. Young occupied the chair. Others present were: Messrs T. R. Lees, J. H. Simmonds, and T. Ewen (secretary): The Foxton Club notified that a senior team would be entered. It was decided to commence the senior league competitions next Saturday, the season to have three rounds. The draw for the first round resulted as below: —
April 23.—R.5.A. v. Foxton (at Foxton), Athletic v. Rangers (at P.N.), St. Andrews v. Flock House (at. the Hostel).
April 30.—R.S.A. v. St. Andrews (at P.N.), Athletic v. Foxton (at P.N.), Flock House v. Rangers (at the Hostel).
May 7. —R.S.A. v. Rangers (at P.N.), Athletic v. Flock House (at the Hostel), St. Andrews v. Foxton (at Foxton). May 14. —R.S.A. v. Flock House (at the Hostel), Athletic v. St. Andrews (at P.N.), Rangers v. Foxton (at P.N.).
May 21.—-R.S.A. v. Athletic (at P.N.), Rangers v. St. Andrews (at P.N.), Foxton v. Flock House (at the Hostel).
The team to represent Foxton against: R.S.A. on Easton Park on Saturday will be selected from the following players:
Hands, G. Mpunsey, Ferrie, Phillips, L. Coley, Burdes, Stanbra (2), W. McKnight, Happer, W. Mounsey, B. Chalk, McKay, Reid.
