ENTERED GIRLS’ COLLEGE IN DISGUISE

MAORI YOUTH SENT TO GAOL.

Napier, Last Night,

George Grace, a male native, aged 18 years, appeared in female attire at the Police Court to-day, and was charged with being disguised. He pleaded guilty. It was stated by the police that Grace gained admission to a girls’ college. He had nothing to say when the Magistrate asked him the reason for his behaviour, and was sent to gaol for three months. The Magistrate said: “I’ll teach you to leave girls’ clothing and girls’ colleges alone in future.”
