PERSONAL.

Rev. S. Perymnn this week commences the fourth year of his ministry in the Foxton circuit. He intimated to his officials on Tuesday evening that he would be resigning his charge at the end of March next.

Mr. A. J. lvellow has been elected unopposed as Feilding’s representative on the Foxton Harbour Board, and will replace Mr. T. Clapham, who did not seek re-election. Mr. lvellow is well-known in Foxton where he resided for a number of years as the local representative for Messrs Levin and Co. During bis residence in Foxton Mr Kellow took a keen interest in local public affairs. So far as Harbour Board affairs are concerned Mr Kellow is well acquainted with the port and the vagaries of the river and his services on the Board should be a decided acquisition.
