RESULTS IN GIRL’S DEATH. Palmerston N., April 8. The death occurred at Palmerston North to-day, under somewhat tragic circumstances, of a 16-year-okl girl named Edna May Serimegeour. Deceased was sitting near a number of horses on her father’s fawn at Ashhurst, about two weeks ago, when one of the animals suddenly turned its head and hit her on the side of The girl felt a stinging blow, but otherwise did not regard matters seriously until this morning, when ,she took suddenly'ill. She was admitted to the Palmerston Hospital, and died a few hours later. An inquest will he held.
