ENTERTAINMENTS.

RJN-TIN-TIN AT TOWN HALL,

“Below the Line,” the new Rin-Tin-Tin picture, that heads the programme at the Town Hall tonight, is the story of a snarling vicious dog, made loyal and fine through the tenderness of a village boy who loves him. In this picture the wonder dog moves from the frigid background of “Tracked in the Snow Country,” to a southern locale, where dangerokis crocodiles lie in the swampy slime and bloodhounds are used to trackjjugitives from justice. Also to be screened to-night “Mr. Cinderella” (comedy) and a N.Z. interest picture, showing the manufacture of motor ears, number plates and the latest news. Usual prices. On Monday evening Syd. Chaplin will be seen as “Old Bill,” in the world famous epic of the comedy side of war “The Better ’Ole,” personally supervised by Bruce Bairnsfather, the creator of the characters. “The Better ’Ole,” has more laughs to the reel than any other comedv on the screen. To say that Syd. Chaplin far outdoes his work in’ “Charley’s Aunt,” is to give patrons, a slight idea of the laughing treat in store. Whether in shell hole, trench or bullets “Old Bill” sees a funny side to everything and with Alf and Bert sees it through. Prices 1/- and 1/6, children half price.
